Sammy began his venture into music at a young age. A drummer at heart he began playing at age 11 continuing on through high school. His love for music only increased as he got older. Leaning more towards the Mainstream & Top 40 scene, he first started spinning at the age of 21. By age 24 his career going full circle and his technique coming under the tutelage of DJ Petedown and one of his influences being DJ Roy Barboza (Hot 96.9 Boston). he has created his own unique style. His body of work speaks for itself, working with the likes of DJ Petedown, DJ Roy Barboza, Platinum recording artist  Ne-Yo, DJ Pup Dawg (Jamn 94.5 Boston) DJ Half Pint (Hot 106 Providence), Wu Tang Clan, DMC (of Run DMC), Naughty by Nature, Jadakis & the Lox, Ryan Leslie, & Shaggy just to name a few. With various ties to the music industry & record labels, he does various label & album promotions (T.I., 50 Cent, Kanye West, & Swizz Beatz, to name a few). He also brings to the table the ability to adapt to the environment to which he is spinning. Whether Top 40, Hip Hop, R&B, Old School, Reggae, Reggaeton or Country, DJ Sammy Clawz has taken the time to master them all. He is the perfect mix of talent and notoriety.
